Deep Space 18

Today's photography is a conceptual architectural shot. It's conceptual because of the strong element of negative space in the composition and the effective result of a specific technique. The tunnel ceiling ornament is certainly the premise for the shot. Yet it isn't technically its subject, neither is the woman on the bottom left ; she only stands in the frame to give the scene its scale value, and some sens of life and motion. The deep allow space that is the volume of air of the whole tunnel, it's length and its sheer vastness in regards to our lady at the bottom left is what the subject of this photography is. A non element subject ; a concept subject ; a space subject. That's what this one is all about. The choice of a wide angle lens and the use of it's reversed zoom focal at 18mm is what gives this tunnel it's vastness ; it's photo magic really cause this place is nowhere as vast as it looks on this shot.

L'image d'aujourd'hui est une photographie architecturale conceptuelle. Elle est conceptuelle à cause du fort élément d'espace négatif dans la composition et de l'effet optique obtenu avec une technique spécifique. Le plafond ornementé est certainement la prémisse pour la prise. Or, techniquement, il n'est pas le sujet, et la femme en bas à gauche non-plus ; sa présence ne sert qu'à donner une échelle de volume, de la vie et un peu de mouvement à la scène. Il s'agit plutôt du vaste espace creux en relation avec notre femme en bas à gauche qui est le sujet de cette photographie. Un sujet non-élément ; un sujet concept ; un sujet d'espace. C'est de ça qu'il s'agit. Le choix d'un objectif grand angle et l'utilisation de son zoom inversé en focal à 18mm est ce qui donne à ce tunnel sa vastitude ; c'est de la magie FotoISO3200 car cet endroit n'est nullement aussi vaste qu'il en donne l'impression sur cette image.
