Victor Garibaldi Brand Image 2

This second photography from my Victor Garibaldi Electroacoustic Composer Project is a black and white portrait with accentuated contrast. I don't often carry important digital modifications to my photography, but this one, when converted into monochrome, didn't punch enough contrast with the backdrop and for the purpose of a brand image. I therefore increased contrast significantly. The original shot in saturated mode needed no such adjustment. The blown out light from overexposure, the out of focus backdrop, the model's pose and the sharp focus on him make this image what it is in relation to its composition. The strong angle of the frame is daring ; an appropriate strategy for the brand image of a musician ; too steep for most portraits however.

Cette deuxième photographie issue du projet Victor Garibaldi Electroacoustic Composer est un portrait noir et blanc avec contraste accentué. Je modifie rarement mes photographies de façon importante, mais celle-ci, lorsque convertit en monochrome, n'affichait plus le punch contraste suffisant pour le besoin et l'arrière plan. J'ai donc accentué le contraste significativement. La photographie originale en mode saturé n'a pas nécessité un tel ajustement. La lumière explosée par la surexposition, l'arrière plan hors focus, la pose du modèle et le focus précis sur celui-ci sont autant de qualités de cette image en rapport avec sa composition. L'angle prononcé du cadre est audacieux ; une stratégie appropriée pour une image de marque de musicien ; trop prononcé pour la majorité des portraits cependant.
