The Tunnelers emerge

A conceptualized cityscape scene is today's blog. Shot during the St-Patrick's day parade ; this 300mm frame of two Irish paraders heading back home after the show was an opportunity to create a staging. Transforming the image into a monochrome in post editing eliminated the colors of white and green that would have given away the true nature of the scene. A high ISO created the thick grain that produces the dreamy cinematic ambiance. A blurred backdrop adds mystery and isolates the characters who seem to emerge from a 70s mafia flick. Photography magic made this image a cinematic frame.

Cette scène de rue conceptualisée est le blogue du jour. Prise durant les festivités de la St-Patrick, cette photographie en 300mm de deux fêtards sur le chemin du retour à la maison suivant la parade était une opportunité de créer une mise en scène. La transformation de l'image en noir et blanc à la poste production a éliminé les couleurs verte et blanche qui auraient dévoilé la vraie nature de la scène. Un ISO élevé a créée ce gros grain donnant un aspect surréaliste à la scène. Un arrière plan hors focus ajoute au mystère et isole les deux personnages qui semblent tout droit sorties d'un film de gangsters des années 70. La magie de la photographie a fait de cette image une scène de film.
