Free art is all over the city, particularly in the metro system, and ready to be photographed. This aluminum sculpture at Namur station is a wonderful photography subject. It's three dimensional geometry lighted with neon offers a great potential for abstraction and composition. In this example, the compressed perspective of my 300mm creates a canvas like feel and gives the art piece total forefront in the environment. The high contrast monochrome edited in post production comes to accentuate the geometry and texture of the flattened depth. The high ISO creates a mystical feel with the blown out light.

le métro, et font de magnifiques sujets. Cette sculpture d’aluminium
à la station Namur est un parfait exemple. Sa géométrie
tri-dimensionnelle éclairée par des néons offre un potentiel
d'abstraction et de composition extraordinaire. Ici, la perspective
compressée de ma 300mm créée un look de tableau et donne à
l’œuvre une place maximisée en avant plan. Le monochrome à haut
contraste, édité en poste production, vient accentuer la géométrie
et la texture de la perspective écrasée. L'ISO 3200 crée une
ambiance mystique en explosant la lumière.
