The image of today's blog is from the latest CityScapes series Nightshift resolute. The objective here was to create a dynamic effect in the viewer's mind ; a visual language that makes the viewer feel that the city doesn't stop when the night falls. The framing of and focus on the traffic light is what creates the message and the out of focus skyscraper is what creates the setting. Eliminating any other object from the frame reinforces the subject.

resolute. L'objectif était de créer un effet dynamique dans
l'esprit du spectateur ; un langage visuel qui fait sentir que la
ville ne s'arrête pas quand la nuit tombe. Le cadrage et la mise au
point sur les feux de circulation est ce qui crée le message et le
gratte-ciel hors focus est ce qui crée la scène. L'élimination de
tout autre objet du cadre renforce le sujet.
