a raffiné un style tout à fait différent du nôtre à notre plus
grand plaisir et au profit du projet.
Dans
le Blogue du jour, trois images de notre dernière Combinaison Fourth
Y2 - Z7 trans-Atlantic qui revêtent une évidente signature que nous
réclamons maintenant dans le projet : impact ou coordination de
couleurs ; coordination linéaire des lignes principales ou
agencement parallèle des lignes de point de fuite ; construction
architecturale des volumes, des secteurs et des formes naturelles
telles les arches et les angles. Ces directives graphiques ont
caractérisé nos Combinaisons en grande partie. Bien entendu,
l'opposition des sujets joue un rôle majeur dans les images que nous
avons créées au fil du projet, néanmoins elles ne sont pas
automatiquement compatibles et c'est là que ça se complique avec
plaisir. Les deux scènes doivent se marier dans l'ambiance et la
lumière et la profondeur et peut-être dans la fonction aussi, ou,
elles doivent discorder grandement. Cet exercice plus abstrait est un
défi pour nous et le spectateur.
As the estuary project moves on after months of experimentation - http://convozine.com/estuary/sections/18407-combinations - we have settled into a definite style of Combinations which defines our contribution to the project - http://convozine.com/estuary/sections/18352-eric-soucy - Our partner in the project, Coventry UK based landscape Photograper Tom Unsworth - http://convozine.com/estuary/sections/18351-tom-unsworth - has refined quite a different style in his Combines to our delight and to the great advantage of the project.
In today's Blog, three images from our latest Combines series Fourth Y2 - Z7 trans-Atlantic are featured with an obvious signature we now own in the project ; color clash or coordination ; linear coordination of main lines or parallel placement of adjacent lead in lines ; architectural construction of volumes, zones and natural shapes such as arches and angles. These graphic directives have shaped our Combines to a great extent. Obviously, the opposition of the subjects plays a huge part in the result of the images we created throughout this project, nevertheless they are not automatically compatible and that is when it gets more tricky and more fun too. Both scenes need to relate to each other in ways of ambiance and light and depth and perhaps in function, or, they need to discord greatly. That more abstract exercise is a challenge for us and the viewer.
