#IMFC gets ready for CONCACAF Quarter Final

Today's Blog post is #IMFC getting ready for the Pachuca Mexico FC @ the Big 'O'

The Montreal MLS club Impact held a public practice at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday January 31st. The young U-19 upcoming prospects of the club where matched to the MLS stars during an intra-team meet.

The empty cavernous Olympic Stadium is an impressive site. The covered arena is going about a series of upgrades to its installations including the refection of the exterior public esplanade. The roof of the stadium - its third - installed by Birdair in the year 2000, is due to be replaced in a couple of years.

The Montreal crew will play its second CONCACAF quarter final next month. The team reached the semi-final of the Champions League tournament during their 2nd division 2007 season.

It's about to get real for the Impact. Several new acquisitions were made in the last few weeks putting a power punch capacity to the forward line with players such as Belgium superstar Laurent Ciman

This March 3rd, the Olympic Stadium will be the arena for the second of the back & forth confrontation against Mexico's Pachuca FC in the CONCACAF Champions League tournament.
