Tunnel Dynamics

'Tunnel Dynamics' is part of the 'Monk Station (a study)' project that can be viewed here http://convozine.com/fotoiso3200/c/28236 a Convozine award winner. The first goal of this shot was to create a dynamic and lengthy graphic composition by using several architectural element lead in lines to the station's tunnel mouth. Also, I was looking for a specific light, tone and general ambiance close to surrealism ; I used a high ISO, the smallest aperture possible for depth and a tilted frame all the while emphasizing on the tunnel's textured vault ceiling rather than the cliché tracks to reach this ambiance.

Le premier but de cette prise était de créer une image dynamique de profondeur dans la composition en utilisant plusieurs éléments architecturaux linéaires qui mènent l’œil en profondeur vers la bouche du tunnel. De plus, je recherchais une lumière, des tons et une ambiance générale près du surréalisme ; j'ai utilisé un ISO élevé, la plus petite ouverture possible pour la profondeur de champs et un cadre penché tout en mettant au point sur la voûte du tunnel plutôt que sur le cliché des rails afin d'obtenir cette ambiance.
