Today's blog is from the latest Combines K series of the 'estuary' project. The project that British landscape photographer Tom Unsworth and I conduct on the Convozine network has evolved significantly in the past year. From a comparative and exploratory experimentation in combining our respective works of landscape and urban photography, it has grown into a full blown study of creative process in combining images to create totally new pictural entities holding together in a new light and dynamic transcending the original works. Here, two abstract tunnel shots converge to frame or wing one of Tom's landscape perspective compositions. Much movement is added to the very static landscape taking most of the original works' essence to another level of perspective. Needless to say we play a lot on paradox.

du projet 'estuary'. Le projet que le photographe de paysages Anglais
Tom Unsworth et moi conduisons sur le réseau Convozine a
significativement évolué dans la dernière année. D'une
expérimentation comparative et exploratoire de combinaison de notre
travail respectif de photographie de paysage et urbaine, le projet a
bourgeonné en étude poussée du processus créatif en combinaison
d'images créant de complètement nouvelles entités picturales qui
se tiennent de façon unique transcendant les œuvres originales
utilisées. Ici, deux photographies abstraites de tunnel convergent
pour cadrer ou ailé une des compositions de paysage en perspective
de Tom. Beaucoup de mouvement est additionné au paysage très
statique poussant la majeure partie de l'essence de l'image original
vers une nouvelle perspective. Inutile de mentionner que nous faisons
beaucoup dans le paradoxe.
