Architectural photography is the art of composition and perspective. Unlike portrait, event, street, people and photojournalism, there is little emotion (if not none), and is all about volumes, geometry and light. Landscaping also fits in this family of photography. It is a pleasure for me as it is an exercise in pure graphic theory.

Photographie architecturale c'est l'art de la composition et de la
perspective. Contrairement au portrait, à la photographie de rue, de
personnes, d'événement et le photojournalisme, il y a peu
d'émotions (sinon aucune), et tout est volume, géométrie et
lumière. La photographie de paysage s’apparente aussi. C'est un
plaisir pour moi car il s'agit d'un exercice pure en théorie de
création d'image
