Le Blogue d'aujourd'hui montre quatre images de notre plus récente série 'The Oasis Under the Bridge' La
lumière cette journée là était très brillante ce qui rendit le
dessous du pont intéressant pour la photo. De plus, le vent presque
inexistant laissa le lac comme un miroir, une opportunité
photographique majeure ; on en voit les résultats avec l'image 2, 3 et 4. L'image 3 montre le lac par une perspective sous le pont, ce qui
me permis de rendre une lumière quelque peu surréelle sur le lac
grâce à l’immense par-soleil que constitua le pont. Inutile de
mentionner que le contraste entre la nature et les infrastructures
urbaines constitue une qualité dans cette série. Le vignettage
blanc sur l'images 3 accentue l'aspect surréel de la lumière,
et le vignettage noir sur les image 1 et 2 était plus approprié pour la
nature de la lumière et l'ambiance sous le pont. Le gars qui se trouve sur l'image 1 est un coureur que j'ai capté sur le vif en train de faire
son jogging, la scène semble arrangée ce qui là rend théâtrale.

Today's Blog showcases four images from our latest 'The Oasis Under the Bridge' series. The light was extremely bright that day making the underneath of the bridge, flooded in shadow, interesting for Photography. What's more, the absence of wind made the lake water look like a mirror ; a major Photographic opportunity ; we can see the results in images 2,3 & 4. Image 3 shows the lake through a perspective from under the bridge that acts like a huge lens cap, accentuating the surreal light of the scene in the background. Needless to mention that the contrast between nature and urban infrastructures is one premiere quality of this series. The white vignetting on image 3 accentuates the surreal nature of the light over the lake ; the black vignetting was more appropriate in images 1 & 2 for the light under the bridge. Guy in image 1 is a jogger I snapped spontaneously in the remarkable light that was present under the bridge making the whole scene quite theatrical.
